Convicted felon arrested after standoff with Federal Way police

Federal Way police arrested a convicted felon who was barricaded in a vehicle early Wednesday morning.
At about 3:40 a.m. Oct. 30 at 33200 26th Ave. SW, police received information regarding a suspect who was wanted for felony domestic violence assault that occurred the day before. The suspect had barricaded himself inside a vehicle at the location, according to police.
Police said the suspect, a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, was considered armed and dangerous. The alleged assault included a threat with a firearm, police said.
At 7:20 a.m. Wednesday, police arrested the suspect. More information will be reported when available.
