Martin Moore inspires high school students | Election letters

Last Saturday (Oct. 19), I was waving signs on the corner of 320th and Pacific Highway South with Martin Moore, candidate for Federal Way City Council position six, along with other supporters.
Three students from Federal Way High School — David Decena, Jordan McEachin and Nykia Ridders — showed up to support their former teacher and AmeriCorps mentor. They aren’t even old enough to vote, but they care about the future of Federal Way.
In a time when complacency has become a human tactic for avoidance of responsibility, we now have a candidate who can turn that around, perhaps change a generation for the greater good of a city in need. This is the kind of leader Martin Moore is. He inspires people to engage in their community. He invites voters from all age groups to unite in achieving their highest and best goals.
Please vote for Martin Moore for Federal Way City Council position six on Nov. 5.
