Fitness facility fiasco in Federal Way | Letters

I know that some of you have written about your experience with LA Fitness after being a member at Bally Total Fitness.

I opened my bank account statement and found that my account was overdrawn and it turns out the LA Fitness had automatically taken their $128-plus, right out of my bank account.

Why would they automatically do that when they had no idea that I would even try to transfer over to them and I had never charged my Bally membership on a credit card? How did they know where to take it from? How can they do this without me even signing anything or even communicating that I would be interested in transferring to them?

I wonder how many people they have done this to. I think that now I wouldn’t even consider transferring to them.
