Who decorates this Christmas tree? | Letters

I’m not sure if you travel on South 336th Street through the meadow at Weyerhaeuser very often.

The last two or three years, someone has decorated this little evergreen tree for Christmas. Last year, it was decorated, then undecorated a couple of times, but again this year it has appeared decorated quite pretty.

I took this picture to show you. Perhaps it would make a little story in the paper about how the spirit of Christmas is alive and well in the meadow.

The tree usually sits there along South 336th Street all alone, but some mysterious person has chosen to decorate it for the holidays.

I think it’s quite a statement, in a very nice silent way.
