Do you have a child with special needs who is in middle school or high school? If so, come learn how to foster independent living skills and help students advocate for themselves.

The forum runs 6:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Federal Way Regional Library, 34200 1st Way S. The forum will focus on middle school and high school students. There will be a discussion on how to help your teen assess the success of his or her own interventions, and will provide information about technology accommodations as well as Life After High School.

Presented by Sylvan Learning and Deborah Bloom, MA, Child Mental Health Specialist. Call (253) 838-3668.
