Kudos to three featured writers | Federal Way letters

A beautifully written trilogy of articles in the Dec. 25 Mirror made me proud to call Federal Way home.

Dave Larson, Nandell Palmer and Mark Knapp showed why they are featured writers: well written, persuasive language captured me and kept my interest to see if they would have a new twist on a seasonal inspiration story.

Their storytelling was warm and personal. The themes ranged from blessings discovered from adversity, the power of support from affirmations, the character that is revealed in times of crisis. The writers each revealed their own strength by their humility.

Thank goodness Federal Way has these men in our community. We may be heading for a stretch of bad road, and some even more challenging times. We are blessed with people who will lead, those who will inspire, and many who will step forward to keep us together as a community. Band together, Federal Way!
