A free Christmas jazz concert begins at 5 p.m. Dec. 19 at Marine View Presbyterian Church, 8469 Eastside Dr. NE, Tacoma.

The incomparable guitarist/entertainer Michael Powers will appear along with his regular trio Dave Austin on drums and Eddy Ferguson on bass. Admission is free to all ages.
