Ferrell stands up for the people | Federal Way letters

Have you ever met Jim Ferrell? If you don’t know him, you have missed the best of Federal Way. Because Jim stood up for us, the people, we now get to vote for our own mayor. Jim has listened to us and what we want, not just what the others on the council demanded.
I have talked to so many residents of Federal Way who do not want the 45-story towers placed right in the center of Federal Way, but we have had to fight the city council to get them to back off. We missed meetings that we never even knew about. Jim Ferrell has opposed these towers.
Jim is a King County Prosecutor, was first elected to the Federal Way City Council in 2003, then re-elected in 2007. He led a campaign in 2009 to change Federal Way’s form of government to include an elected mayor and was the first to declare his candidacy for the position. Jim is an honest person with very high ethics.
If you are tired of the way things have been running in the past, then Jim is your candidate. Our city needs new leadership like Jim Ferrell.
Please vote for Jim Ferrell.
Nancy Combs, Federal Way
