Electing responsible people to office | Federal Way letters

Probably by now, most voters have come to the realization that we Americans are in an unsustainable fiscal situation that must be stopped and then reversed. Consider the philosophies of governance of that particular breed of politicians who have put us in this difficult position where we and our progeny are saddled with heavy debt. We have to turn it around, folks, because the hole we are digging is getting deeper each day. Do we really want to keep this up? I think not.

We can begin the process of restoring fiscal sanity to government by starting at the local level. I intend to vote for Tony Moore who is viscerally committed to the Washington State Legislature, living within the same common-sense constraints as the rest of us. What are we waiting for? It’s not going to turn around until we elect disciplined and responsible people to office.
