Upcoming charity golf tournaments in Federal Way

Decatur golf: Decatur High School is hosting its inaugural Decatur High School Golf Tournament. The event will be held at 1 p.m. at Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club on Saturday, Sept. 11. The cost is $110 per golfer and includes a cart, green fees, banquet and silent auction. The tournament will benefit Decatur High School athletics. Han Woo-Ri golf: The Board of Directors of the Han Woo-Ri Festival announced The Han Woo Ri Classic golf tournament at the Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club on Sept. 16. Tickets for the tournament will be $100, which includes golf carts, dinner and service charges, if purchased by Sept. 10. After that date, tickets will be $125. Auction and Dinner-only tickets will also be available for $35 per person. Funds raised from the tournament will help finance the 2011 Han Woo-Ri Festival, the Northwest’s largest Korean-American festival, featuring performance, exhibits, activities, food and more. Federal Way Lions: The Federal Way Lions will hold a fundraising golf tournament Sept. 10. Cost is $85 per golfer or $340 per foursome. Price includes entry into all events, 18 holes of golf, range balls and hamburger buffet dinner. Raffles and awards available.
