The Federal Way United Lightning ‘97 girls soccer team finished in second place at the Fort Steilacoom 5 vs. 5 Tournament on Sunday. The team is coached by Tom Shires, who was assisted by Arturo Whirt. The team included Sera Kinyanjui, Rachel Wolf, Kylie Miller, Soledad Whirt, Hannah Coburn, Noelle Stuckel, Mylee Jeffers, Payten Hurn and Emily Shires.
