Umpqua Bank will close branch on Pacific Highway South

On April 30, Umpqua Bank will close its branch at 31435 Pacific Highway S. (formerly Evergreen Bank), and will move those employees to the Umpqua branch at 1900 S. 320th St. (formerly Rainier Pacific Bank).
No employee positions will be eliminated during the move, said Umpqua spokeswoman Lani Hayward.
“The proximity was such that it really made sense,” Hayward said of the move. Umpqua Bank recently acquired Evergreen Bank’s seven locations and Rainier Pacific Bank’s 14 locations in the Puget Sound area.
