Woodmont Library open

The Woodmont branch of the King County Libraries is now open after construction at 26809 Pacific Highway South. The library is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays.

Lawn furniture sale Aug. 9

Dave Hamlin, a Federal Way outdoor furniture designer, will sell his work from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 9 at Christ Lutheran Church, 2501 320th Ave. S.W.

Proceeds will be donated for the benefit of Lou Gehrig’s disease.
