Todd Beamer girls basketball point guard Japhera McEachin has been selected as the Federal Way Mirror’s Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 13 to Feb. 17.

Despite the Titans falling to the Bellarmine Lions on Feb. 10, McEachin led her team with 16 points and six rebounds.

She came out of the gate in the second half with six straight points to increase Beamer’s lead to 24-17 midway through the third quarter. McEachin has doubled her points-per-game average from her junior to senior season from just over six to 12.
