The Desna Soccer Club will host the Desna Cup beginning at 6 p.m. on Aug. 19 and continuing at noon Aug. 20-21.

The event, held at Saghalie Park (33914 19th Ave. SW), will include sports activities (soccer and volleyball tournaments, tug-of-war, arm-wrestling and a weight-lifting competition), cultural programs, kids’ inflatables, food and more family-friendly games. This year will mark the nine-year anniversary of the Desna Cup, whose organizer’s mission is to “unite and bring the community together through sports, cultural festivals, music, and family fun activities.”
