Narita J. Saromines, 83, a 23-year resident of Federal Way, died on Aug. 22, 2010, in Federal Way, WA. Narita and husband Colin moved to Federal Way from Honolulu, Hawaii, where they had lived for many years. She was born on May 13, 1927, in Cebu City, Philippines. They would have been married 28 years on Sept. 17, 2010. She worked for O’Berto in Federal Way for 7 years. Narita loved music, dancing and was a good singer. She was a member of Christian Faith Center, and received numerous awards for her volunteer work over the years. Survived by her husband, Colin; daughter, Clothie Canoy of the Philippines; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held in the Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA.
