Man scared off by Samoans: At 2:17 a.m. on Nov. 28 in the 35000 block of Pacific Highway South, police were called by a male in a wheelchair. The man told officers he was verbally threatened by several Samoans for trespassing on their property. They advised the man stay off of their property, but he asked police that his statements be documented.

Have you seen my bicycle?: At 8:16 a.m. on Nov. 28 in the 700 block of Southwest 353rd Place, a woman reported her bicycle was stolen from her garage, which was left open. When the victim returned, she saw an unknown male riding her son’s bicycle down the driveway. The victim could only provide a description of a black backpack with a neon pink stripe. The victim was unable to provide the make, model or serial number of the bicycle. The area was checked, and the suspect was not located.

Payback can be sticky: At 11:41 a.m. on Nov. 28 in the 29000 block of 19th Avenue South, a victim went out to his car and noticed the door handle had been super-glued. The victim said he did not hear anything throughout the night. He did offer a possible suspect to police, due to a recent falling out with someone. The victim recently blocked the potential suspect from all social media.

Former employee looking to get even: At 2:58 p.m. on Nov. 28 in the 2200 block of Southwest 356th Street, police received a report that a former employee had been seeking information against the business after her termination. The business had a mold issue that was handled, and the former employee called the mold-removal company and represented herself as an employee of the Bureau of Labor and Industries and requested information about the mold. The employer told police they believe the employee was trying to gather information to file a lawsuit for unsafe work conditions. Police advised nothing criminal had taken place and the issue is a civil matter between a business and former employee.

Criminal caught sleeping: At 7:54 a.m. on Nov. 29 in the 1000 block of South 320th Street, officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle. When police arrived, it appeared the suspect was sleeping in the car. The sleeping man had a warrant for $500 out of Federal Way. Police issued the suspect a new court date.

Belongings taken from vehicle: At 1:12 p.m. on Nov. 29 in the 2500 block of South Gateway Center Place, a victim told police someone broke into his vehicle and had over $500 dollars-worth of property stolen out of it. The property included a cell phone, several sets of sunglasses and a silver necklace. There were no witnesses to the theft and no video cameras on scene.

You should probably pay for that food: At 1:45 p.m. on Nov. 29 in the 100 block of Southwest Campus Drive, officers were called after a suspect failed to pay for food he had eaten. A records check revealed there was an active warrant for his arrest, and he was arrested and booked into the SCORE Jail on the warrant.

An unwanted paint job: At 1:37 p.m. on Nov. 29 in the 32000 block of Eighth Avenue Southwest, police were contacted by a victim who discovered her mailbox had been tagged with red spray paint. She stated she discovered the damage after returning home from spending a week out of town. The tagger used the initials “DNG” on the tagged items. The damage to the mailbox is estimated to be less than $400.

Church can’t hide suspects: At 10:06 a.m. on Nov. 30 in the 33000 block of 20th Avenue South, officers were contacted after staff discovered transients were staying on Christian Faith Church property. Police found a suspect to have a felony and misdemeanor warrant. The warrants were confirmed and the suspect was booked into the SCORE Jail.

Shoplifter gets more than he bargained for: At 11:06 a.m. on Dec. 1 in the 1900 block of South 314th Street, police booked a suspect after he attempted to steal items from Wal-Mart. After officers got the man’s name, they discovered he had a warrant out for his arrest.

A new form of advertising: At 10:01 a.m. on Dec. 2 in the 1300 block of South 293rd Place, a man called police after he discovered a broken mailbox was placed behind his car. The mailbox was filled with only advertisements. The mailbox listed an address out of Seattle. Officers took the mailbox and had it destroyed because of heavy, preexisting damage.

Man’s stolen mail doesn’t go far: At 10 a.m. on Dec. 3 in the 3500 block of Southwest 328th Place, a man told police he found mail in the bed of his pickup truck, which was parked on the street in front of his house. He said the mail appeared to have been discarded there. Officers took possession of approximately 30 pieces of mail from the man. Police noticed the mail appeared to have been taken from several different addresses.

Lowes is not a hotel: At 12:17 p.m. on Dec. 3 in the 35000 block of Enchanted Parkway South, police discovered two suspects sleeping in a car in the Lowes parking lot. When police ran a records check of the suspects, officers found both to have multiple warrants. Both were booked and taken to SCORE Jail without incident.

Just maybe going for a test drive: At 2:56 a.m. on Dec. 4 in the 1800 block of South 310th Street, officers were called after a man discovered someone inside of his car, which was parked outside of his house. The victim said the suspect was scared away by an alarm. Police found nothing missing from the car and no damage.

Vacation is not an appropriate time: At 8:15 p.m. on Dec. 4 in the 15000 block of 64th Avenue Court East in Puyallup, Federal Way police were contacted regarding questions about a parenting plan violation. The caller stated the father of her child was using vacation time within the parenting plan to extend the time he has with his son and was refusing to give the child back. The mother said the vacation time was not granted by the parenting plan. She said there was a restraining order listing her as the protected person. She was told by police her call was a civil issue and was referred to the court that has jurisdiction over the parenting plan.

Two for the price of one: At 1 a.m. on Dec. 5 in the 35000 block of 21st Avenue Southwest, officers stopped a vehicle during a routine traffic stop. Upon running the suspect’s driver license, police learned the woman had multiple warrants from various jurisdictions, including two out of Federal Way. The suspect was placed into custody and subsequently transported and booked into SCORE Jail.

Woman subject of fraud: At 11:48 a.m. on Dec. 5 in the 33000 block of 32nd Avenue Southwest, a victim contacted police after she discovered on her credit report a charge for a payday loan from First US Bank. The victim stated she never opened a payday loan. She told police the loss was approximately $675.

Someone has anger issues: At 1:41 p.m. on Dec. 5 in the 1900 block of Southwest 321st Lane, a female victim called police to report a burglary. She told officers it appeared the suspect used a key to gain entry to the apartment and then ransacked it. The victim said nothing went missing, however the suspect kicked and punched holes in doors and walls and threw belongings on the floor. The police have no leads at this time.

Guilty conscience gets the better of suspect: At 5:23 p.m. on Dec. 5 in the 33000 block of Eighth Avenue South, a man walked into the Federal Way Police Department and told police he wanted to turn himself in for a felony warrant for escaping community custody without bail. Officers verified his identity and arrested and booked him into SCORE Jail.
