This year the Federal Way Lions Club donated 380 new student dictionaries to third-graders at four elementary schools.

This is the 13th year the club has participated in this project and club leaders said they have nothing but rave reviews from students and teachers.

“When the students are given the books they immediately start searching through the pages and buzzing with excitement,” according to a press release from the club. “We realize that some students have never had a book to call their own and that’s one of the reasons we keep supporting this project.”

The Federal Way Lions Club intends to keep supporting this project in years to come.
