‘Messiah’ scheduled for Nov. 17, 20

George Frideric Handel’s “Messiah,” the 18th-century oratorio punctuated by the celebrated Hallelujah Chorus, will be performed twice this month by the Federal Way Symphony Orchestra, the Symphony Singers and the Federal Way Chorale. The first performance will be at St. Vincent de Paul Church (30525 8th Ave. S., Federal Way) on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m. The second will be at St. Luke’s Church (515 S. 312th St., Federal Way) on Sunday, Nov. 20, at 2 p.m. Single tickets for adults are $33 at presale and $36 at the door. For seniors (60 and over), single tickets are $29 at presale and $32 at the door. For students (19 and over), single tickets are $15. Youths (18 and under) get in for free.
