Thomas Jefferson boys tennis starts season with a victory

TJHS beat Auburn 5-0 on Tuesday.

The Raider boys tennis team began the season with a 5-0 home victory over Auburn on Tuesday.

TJ defeated Auburn 5-0 on Sept. 10:

Thomas Jefferson’s Elyas Poore defeated Wyatt Pritchard 2,1; Thomas Jefferson’s Nick Peterson beat Rhett Stein 0,0; Thomas Jefferson’s duo of Pona Rosa and Kana Rosa beat Auburn’s Ty Ugaddan and Joel Casperson 0,0; Thomas Jefferson’s Jack Balster and Ryan Oka defeated Kenny Phan and Braden Sadow 0,1; Thomas Jefferson’s Logan Grall and Nick Healey topped Auburn’s Trey Callero and Gabe McNichols 2,1.

The Raiders travel to Federal Way Thursday, Sept. 12 and host Auburn Mountainview Friday, Sept. 13.
