Decatur graduate Kyle Bressler and the Oregon State University wrestling team are coming to Auburn. The Beavers are hosting Simon Fraser University from Canada at 7 p.m. at Vision Quest Sports and Fitness in the Auburn SuperMall Nov. 24.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and children. The Oregon State coaching staff will put on a free one-hour clinic at 5 p.m. The clinic is free with the purchase of a ticket.

Bressler finished his wrestling career at Decatur with a 117-6 career record with 70 pins. He won two state championships at 189 pounds and was 40-0 as a senior with 26 pins.

He is now a junior at Oregon State and wrestled last year at 184 pounds. He finished the season 19-13 with four pins and wrestled at the NCAA Championships, where he finished 0-2. He finished third at the Pac-10 Championships with a 3-1 record.

Bressler is majoring in construction engineering management and chose Oregon State “to wrestle for a great program and get a good education.”

Bressler has been on the Pac-10 All-Academic Team each of the last two years.
