FWPS welcomes spectators back to high school sporting events

Two passes for home game attendance will be provided to each athlete.

Federal Way Public Schools will soon welcome back spectators to high school sporting events.

The North Puget Sound League (NPSL) recently approved the return of a limited number spectators at home games, the district announced March 26.

Each rostered FWPS athlete will be given two spectator passes for attendance to any home game at a Federal Way venue beginning the week of Monday, March 29.

Students are not permitted unless accompanied by an adult with admission, and spectators passes are for family members of athletes, the district stated.

Passes require the completion of a health screening form prior to entering the venue, and admission to any venue with a pass is free of charge.

In addition, all attendees to games must wear a mask and maintain six-feet of distance between others when seated at the sporting event.

The district will continue to offer live stream video of games for this year’s sports seasons for the larger community to watch and support student-athletes. To tune in to a sporting event live stream, visit justagamelive.com.
