Federal Way National Little League sends 8 teams to District 10 tournaments

The District 10 All Star Little League season kicked off on June 12 with the ages 8/9/10 and ages 9/10/11 District 10 softball tournaments.

The Federal Way National 8/9/10 year old softball team played a tough South Hill team, with South Hill getting the win. Federal Way National then faced Soundview, which eliminated Federal Way National.

South Hill will represent District 10 in the state tournament beginning Saturday, July 10 in Gig Harbor with their win over Bonney Lake Sumner.

Federal Way National 9/10/11 year old softball team defeated Auburn on June 12. Federal Way’s next opponent was Chinook, with Chinook getting the win. Federal Way found themselves battling Fife, Milton, and Edgewood for their third game. Federal Way was eliminated with Fife, Milton, and Edgewood securing the win.

South Hill was the District 10 champion with a win against Fife, Milton, and Edgewood, and will represent District 10 at the 9/10/11 year old state tournament in Auburn starting Saturday, July 10.

Federal Way National 8/9/10 District 10 baseball tournament began June 19. Federal Way faced Soundview giving Federal Way their first loss, followed by a game against Auburn on June 20. Federal Way rallied in the sixth inning, but came up short and was eliminated from the District 10 tournament. Chinook Little League was also eliminated with a loss to Kent Little League.

The 8/9/10 District 10 baseball tournament continues through the week with the championship game scheduled for Friday, June 25. Kent, South Hill, Fife, Milton, and Edgewood, Soundview, Bonney Lake and Sumner, and Auburn are competing this week.

The state tournament for 8/9/10 will be played in Centralia.

The 9/10/11 District 10 baseball tournament is running simultaneously with the 8/9/10 year old District 10 tournament. Federal Way National found themselves in the losers bracket with a loss to Bonney Lake and Sumner on June 19.

Federal Way National rallied and secured a win against Chinook, who was then eliminated. Federal Way National will played their third game on June 21.

The 9/10/11 District 10 baseball tournament continues through the week with the championship game scheduled for Thursday, June 24. The state tournament will take place in Woodinville beginning Thursday, July 24.

Federal Way National Little League is the host of the District 10 8/9/10 and 9/10/11 baseball and softball divisions.

The District 10 Majors baseball tournament began Tuesday, June 22 at Sunset Park in Auburn and Majors softball tournament at South King County Fields began Tuesday, June 22.

12u Baseball All Stars will play at Sunset Field #1 at 9 a.m., June 26 to July 1 at Sunset Park Baseball Fields in Auburn.

The Juniors baseball All Stars will play at the South King County Ballfields (S. 354th Street in Auburn) field #5 at 9 a.m. Sunday, June 27.
