Federal Way senior averages 200 yards per game, ranked fourth in the NSPL for football.

Federal Way High School senior RJ Tausili, football, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Oct. 4.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Advanced physical fitness.

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: Football, track, hangout with friends, and Young Life.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: Big Mike from Young Life.

Q: The best advice I’ve ever been given by a coach is:

A: “Lean into God’s strength, not mine.”

Q: Describe your pre­-game ritual and favorite post-game meal.

A: Pre – I listen to worship music. Post – go to Red Robin with teammates.

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “Here Again” by Elevation Worship.

From the sideline: FWHS senior RJ Tausili has been a rock for the Federal Way Eagles football team with both his leadership and play. He is averaging close to 200 yards per game and is fourth in the North Puget Sound League. He has nine touchdowns to one interception and is carrying a 60% completion rate. Beyond the numbers is his consistent positive leadership and dedication to getting himself and teammates better, which impacts the team overall.
