FWHS junior earns All-NPSL First Team honors, ends season with 35 catches for 545 yards.

Federal Way High School junior Jatavious Magee, football, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Nov. 29.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: History.

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: Football, track, video games.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: R.J. Tausili, FWHS senior student-athlete and football teammate.

Q: The best advice I’ve ever been given by a coach is:

A: “It’s never too late,” – Eagles football head coach John Meagher.

Q: Describe your pre­-game ritual and favorite post-game meal.

A: Pre – listening to music. Post meal – sweet onion chicken teriyaki sub from Subway.

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “Under the Sun” by J. Cole.

From the sideline: FWHS junior Jatavious Magee was a standout for the Eagles football team this year. He was an All-NPSL First Team selection both as a wide receiver and as a defensive back. He finished the season with 35 catches for 545 yards and six touchdowns. On defense, he had three interceptions and was one of Federal Way’s leading tacklers.
