Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for May 27: Kwame Amissah-Arthur

TBHS senior is captain of the boys soccer team, recently scored two goals in game defeating Kent Meridian.

Todd Beamer High School senior Kwame Amissah-Arthur, soccer, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for May 27.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: My favorite subject is English.

Q: What additional activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: I enjoy traveling and listening to music.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My coaches and teachers.

Q: What is the best advice you’ve been given when it comes to your sport?

A: To have fun and enjoy it as much as you can.

Q: Describe your pre-game ritual:

A: Listening to music.

Q: What’s your favorite post-game meal?

A: Pasta and sauce mixed with onions.

From the sidelines: TBHS senior Kwame Amissah-Arthur is a midfielder for the boys soccer team. He is a great leader for our team. Kwame has been the captain of the team all year. He demonstrates leadership on and off the field. He works hard every day and sets a great example for everyone on the team. On April 29, Kwame scored two goals for the Titans in the last 5 minutes of the game to help the team come from behind and defeat Kent Meridian High School (2-1).
