From the sidelines: FWHS senior Gustavo Ledesma has been chosen because of his leadership qualities and versatility on the soccer field. He is a natural leader and was chosen as captain of the team this year. He has an ability to lead on multiple fronts, not only with his words and actions on the field, but his behavior off the field. In the classroom, he sets a high standard for his peers. This was shown this past week as we were missing a few key players. Gustavo was asked to step up and play an unfamiliar role which he accepted and performed well in supporting our victory. He is never hesitant to lead and deserves to be named Athlete of the Week this week.
