Thomas Jefferson High School’s Brandon Truong, boys swim, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Dec. 14.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: Math.
Q: What other activities/hobbies do you participate in?
A: I am involved in math team and key club.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: My parents.
Q: Do you have a pregame/competition ritual or postgame tradition, and what is it?
A: Pre-meets I like talking to my teammates and getting hyped.
Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?
A: “Would You” by Pink Sweat$.
From the sideline: Brandon has led TJHS to opening season wins over Auburn and Federal Way high schools. He has already set qualifying district times in the 200 free (1:57.74) and 100 fly (58.87). With his leadership, TJHS is hoping to win the NPSL title.
