Todd Beamer High School’s Madison Heck, girls track, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for March 30.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Language arts and, surprisingly, math

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you participate in?

A: Young Life, gymnastics, cross country and Honors Society

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My family. They really are my biggest supporters and are always there for me

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: None

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: Throwbacks and Shawn Mendes’ new songs

“Madison Heck leads the NPSL and WCD in 100 hurdles with a time of 15.11 seconds and top 10 in 300 hurdles,” Titan coach Jennifer Williams said. “Madison is a three-sport athlete, a tough competitor and overall asset to Todd Beamer athletics.”
