The TJ sophomore helped lead the Raiders to its best season in over eight years.

Thomas Jefferson High School’s Hailey Still, girls basketball, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Feb. 9.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Physical education

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you participate in?

A: Soccer and leadership

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My mom, dad and sister

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: Before the team goes on the court, we huddle up and put our foot on the ball and talk about what we can do to win

“Hailey has led her basketball team to its best season in over eight years, finishing third in the Olympic division of the NPSL,” Raider coach Frank Parker said. “She is currently leading the team in scoring, steals and assists and recently was named first-team All NPSL as a sophomore.”
