Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Oct. 7: Emma Hoover

Todd Beamer High School junior Emma Hoover, soccer, is the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Oct. 7.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: I like science classes and learning more about what’s going on around the world.

Q: What additional activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: Outside of soccer, I spend most of my time hanging out with friends.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My parents have helped me succeed the most, they are always pushing me to be better.

Q: What is the best advice you’ve been given when to comes to your sport?

A: The best advice I’ve been given is to have confidence in myself because a big part of the game is your mindset.

Q: Describe your pre-game ritual and your favorite post-game meal:

A: My pregame ritual is usually just getting a good night of sleep, drinking lots of water, and eating super light before the game. My favorite post-game meal is any type of pasta.

Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

A: The song I cant stop listening to is “Super Bass” by Nicki Minaj.

From the sidelines: TBHS junior Emma Hoover is a First Team All-League midfielder. She is a beast on the soccer field, a scholar in the classroom, and a leader and mentor around her friends and peers. Her talent and ability with a soccer ball is something you don’t see on many high school teams. She is straight-up filthy!
