Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Nov. 26: Achalay Reyes

FWHS senior is ASB president and captain of the soccer team.

Federal Way High School senior Achalay Reyes, soccer, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Nov. 26.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Econ.

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: Soccer, weightlifting, sewing, basketball, track, and hanging out with friends.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My parents.

Q: The best advice I’ve ever been given by a coach is:

Q: Describe your pre-match ritual?

A: Pre-game: Eat something healthy, listen to music, and visualize what I am going to do in the game. Post-game meal: Stuffed crust margherita pizza and ice cream

Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

A: “Sad Girlz Luv Money” by Amaarae feat. Kali Uchis and Moliy.

From the sideline: FWHS senior Achalay Reyes has been a four-year stand out scholar-athlete at Federal Way High School, participating in soccer, basketball and track. Her hard work, dedication and leadership skills paid off as she was voted captain of the soccer team as well as ASB president her senior year. Achalay is wonderful to be around, and will no doubt be successful in her future endeavors. Her graduation is just the beginning of a very bright future.
