Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
Q: What hobbies do you enjoy outside of your sport?
A: Outside of basketball I like to work, try food at restaurants and listen to music.
Q: Who is the person in your life that has helped you succeed the most?
A: My older brother is my best friend and has helped me succeed by always being there for me and training me in basketball. Also, my parents who have always supported me.
Q: If you could have dinner with anyone (living or from the past), who would it be? Why?
A: I would probably have dinner with my grandma who passed away when I was in the 6th grade. She took care of me as a kid!
Q: Describe your pre-game ritual:
A: Pregame, I like to eat a sandwich and then listen to music on the way to the gym. Once I get there I get dressed and locked in, no more music.
Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?
A: “Sixtape” by Blxst and Bino Rideaux, really takes me back to my freshman year.
From the sidelines: Mandi was a two-year varsity letter award winner for the Gator girls basketball program. She was a leader on our team that advanced to the opening round of the WIAA 4A state tournament. Mandi was selected by NPSL coaches for All-League First Team. She was a valuable member, caring more about the team and was just as focused at making her teammates better with the success she was experiencing on the court. In the classroom, Mandi has earned a 4.00 cumulative grade point average.
She will earn her high school diploma and associate’s degree in June.
