TJHS junior leads girls basketball team in scoring, steals.

Thomas Jefferson High School’s Hailey Still, girls basketball, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Jan. 18.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Nutrition.

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: Soccer and traveling.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My family, coaches and teammates have helped me succeed.

Q: Do you have a pre­game/competition ritual or post­game tradition, and what is it?

A: Before the game, the team huddles up and talks about what we need to do during the game.

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “Happier” by Marshmello.

From the sideline: Hailey is a leader on and off the court. She leads by example and has an incredible work ethic. She leads the team in scoring and in steals. Hailey will play a major role for TJHS who is currently battling for a playoff berth into the NPSL tournament as well as the West Central District tournament. We are honored to have her as the TJHS Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week.
