Todd Beamer High School senior Sharay Trotter, basketball, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Feb. 7.

A: Puzzles.

A: My mom and my coaches.

A: “Someone is always watching so always give your best effort.”

Q: Describe your pre-game ritual and your favorite post-game meal.

A: Pre-game ritual – Listen to music and get into the zone. Post-game meal – A nice home cooked meal or sushi.

From the sideline: Todd Beamer High School senior Sharay Trotter played a major role in helping the Todd Beamer girls basketball win the Top of the Peak Tournament this season. The tournament featured some of the best teams in the area. Sharay’s defense and 43 points during the three games led the Titans to victory. Sharay’s leadership and intensity towards the end of the season is helping the team make a strong finish.
