Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Feb. 4: Sarah Campos

TBHS sophomore is an inspiration to the gymnastics team.

Todd Beamer High School sophomore Sarah Campos, gymnastics, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Feb. 4.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Intro to health careers.

Q: What additional activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: Photography, crocheting, swimming and hanging out with friends.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: It would be hard to pick just one person specifically, but my family, friends and coaches have been amazing supporters and encouragers in my life.

Q: What is the best advice you’ve been given when it comes to your sport?

A: “Push yourself. That is the only way you get better and improve.”

Q: Describe your pre-game ritual and your favorite post-game meal?

A: Pre-game ritual: Listen to music and visualize positive outcomes. Post-game meal: Ramen.

Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

From the sidelines: Todd Beamer sophomore Sarah Campos is a hard working, strong individual who excels both in athletics and academics. Sarah continuously shows up each day with a positive attitude, encouraging her teammates in all circumstances.

Not only is she an amazing athlete herself, but she is a leader and an inspiration to the team.
