Federal Way Mirror Athletes of the Week for Sept. 6: All-district cheerleaders

Federal Way Mirror’s Athlete of the Week feature section highlights athletes throughout the district in a range of sports.

Bring on fall sports, the first day of school, and the Mirror’s weekly feature recognizing student-athletes across the district.

Throughout the school year, athletic directors from each high school will submit male and female nominees for Federal Way Mirror’s Athlete of the Week section, which runs both in print and online.

This honor culminates in May when the Mirror hosts an online ballot of finalists for the community to vote on. The district’s winners are then awarded at the Athlete of the Year celebration in June 2020.

To kickoff this year’s Athletes of the Week feature, the Mirror is recognizing cheerleaders from Thomas Jefferson, Todd Beamer, Federal Way and Decatur high schools.

Go Gators and Raiders, Eagles and Titans — and good luck this season!
