Athlete of the Week:

Federal Way High School’s Jaydn McWilliams, football, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Nov. 2.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Science.

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you participate in?

A: Football, hanging with family, working out, Fortnite.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: Dad – helps to motivate me to be successful on and off the field.

Q: Do you have a pre­game/competition ritual or post­game tradition, and what is it?

A: Pre – watches Reggie White highlights and listens to music. Post – prays.

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “Ambition” by Wale.

From the sideline: Jaydn has continually progressed this year, game-by-game. He had two sacks and 10 tackles in last Friday’s game. He played every snap at left tackle on offense. He has been a steady force both on offense and defense for the Eagles this year as a sophomore.
