Federal Way School District high schools will send 14 wrestlers including two 4A regional champions to the Mat Classic state tournament Feb. 20-21 at the Tacoma Dome.

Federal Way School District high schools will send 14 wrestlers including two 4A regional champions to the Mat Classic state tournament Feb. 20-21 at the Tacoma Dome.

Decatur’s Isaiah Diggs took the 152-pound title at the 4A regional tournament Saturday at Kent-Meridian High.

Mitchell Owens from Todd Beamer won the 170-pound class Saturday.

Decatur’s Moses Griffen took third at 113.

Todd Beamer’s Jordan Rhodes was second at 126.

At 132 Malik Messiah,Todd Beamer, took second and Leviticus Aripze from Decatur was third.

Todd Beamer’s Sean Van Earwage came in second at 145 and Decatur’s Zach Berry fourth.

Adrian Avena, Todd Beamer, took second at 152.

At 170 Heng Yon, Thomas Jefferson took  third.

AJ Sarno came in third for Decatur at 182 and Marion Jackson fourth at 182.

At 220 Andrzej Hughes-Murray from Federal Way took third and Joe Johnson from Decatur was fourth.
