Federal Way High School athletes sign letters of intent

Seven students recognized at ceremony Wednesday.

Family, friends and classmates celebrated the successes of seven Federal Way High School athletes who signed letters of intent to play college athletics in a special assembly Wednesday at Federal Way High School. Seven Federal Way High School athletes who signed letters of intent were recognized: Chaella Galabon, from left, Molly Saeda, Evan Brewer, Tupo Lologo, Lolohea Makaafi, Daniel Gomez and Mark Wright. Galabon will play softball at Pacific Lutheran University in the fall. Saeda has committed to play volleyball at the University of Puget Sound. Brewer has signed to play soccer at Tacoma Community College. Tupu Lologo signed to play volleyball at Western Washington University in the fall. Makaafi will play rugby at Lindenwood University. Gomez will play soccer at Highline College. Wright committed to play baseball at Edmonds College. Not pictured is Raquel Prado-Huerta who will play soccer at Tacoma Community College.
