According to Mayor Jim Ferrell, Federal Way is economically strong, or so he said in his State of the City speech. Now I read that the city is looking for new revenue sources.

I am confused. Won’t the Performing Arts and Event Center, a higher education facility and all the new business coming to Federal Way provide an increased tax base?

I would like to see a weekly column by the mayor or staff informing the voters of what these new revenue sources could be, what the city’s plans are for the homeless, crime reduction and business developement, the continual cost of the PAEC, etc. I am taxed out.
