I recently entered a Citizen Action Request on the city of Federal Way website regarding piles of leaves covering the sidewalks on Southwest Campus Drive. There were so many leaves, you couldn’t see the sidewalk in areas. The footing was slippery, and even on a dry day your feet got soaked by walking through the leaves to reach your destination.

I contacted the city via the website and entered my request to have staff clear the leaves and make the sidewalk safer.

Thank you city of Federal Way! In less than 48 hours, the leaves were cleared. The sidewalk is again visible, and my footing is safer.

I have used this request in the past for shrubs growing across the sidewalks, and our city has always been very responsive. If you see a need in our city, enter a request to get it taken care of.
