A town hall regarding airport noise was held at the Federal Way City Hall nearly three years ago. There was not enough room in council chambers to accommodate all interested residents.

Since that town hall, little, if anything, has been accomplished. The Mirror recently presented statements from all three mayoral candidates. Not one candidate considered the issue worth discussing or even mentioning.

Why have a task force study the issue if the political leadership considers airport noise unimportant or irrelevant to Federal Way?
