William R. Sandwith of Federal Way died May 27. He was 66.
He was born Sept. 9, 1936 in Bellingham and was the founder and owner of Mikron Industries, headquartered in Kent.
Survivors include his wife, Joanne; a daughter, Susan Crader; sons Jeff Sandwith, David Sandwith and Mark Sandwith; his mother, Elizabeth Sandwith; a brother, Richard Sandwith; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m. May 31 at Grace Lutheran Church, 22975 24th Ave. S., in Des Moines.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the W.R. Sandwith Foundation Society for PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy), 1838 Greene Tree Road, Suite 515, Baltimore, MD 21208.
