Pamela Sue Lagerquist | Obituary

Pamela Sue Lagerquist passed away in February 2023 at home in Federal Way, Washington. She was 73. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Mildred and Raymond Lagerquist, she enjoyed running track in high school, water-skiing, and dancing. The second of five sisters, Laurel, Vicki, Robin & Melissa all survive her along with her son Greg and granddaughter, Desiree’.

A woman of great talent and drive, she was a true Renaissance woman and a pioneer. Not only was she the 1st woman Elevator Constructor in Washington, Oregon & Alaska, but she was also a Real Estate Broker & proprietor in Minnesota had attained a Class ‘A” CDL driver’s license, was an Insurance Adjuster, managed various restaurants, and even soldered circuit boards professionally in the ‘70s. Her first endeavor was selling seeds door to door so that she could win a transistor radio as a prize in her youth.

She loved growing & canning food, cooking for friends, and entertaining. Don’t tell anyone, but she made a great Apple Jack Liquor & some fine Dandelion Wine also. Her hobbies included sewing, knitting, and needlepoint on rainy days and late nights.

A loving and devoted single mother who always worked hard to provide and care for her son. She lived a full life and will be missed until the end of all of our days.
