Nellie G. Bradshaw of Federal Way died March 2 in Cle Elum. She was 74.
Born April 25, 1928 in Fertile, Minn., she graduated with a teaching certificate from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., and moved to the Puget Sound area in 1957. She married Don Bradshaw in 1960.
She taught preschool, middle school-level and high school at Cross and Crown Lutheran Church in Renton, and at Childhaven in Burien and Auburn.
She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church of Auburn and the FS Chapter of PEO, and a former member of Family of God Lutheran Church in Federal Way.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan Bradshaw; a brother, Howard Berg; sisters Connie Epperson and Olga Ofstedal; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nels and Gena Berg; a brother, Milton Berg; and her husband.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. March 11 at Messiah Lutheran Church, located at Fourth and H Street Northeast in Auburn.
The family suggests memorials be made to Messiah Lutheran, Childhaven or St. Olaf College Alumni Association.
