On January 11, 2018 Hanna peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior while surrounded by her family. She was born December 27, 1930 to John and Caroline Walter in Chicago, Illinois.

​Hanna​ is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth (William) Flint; son, Richard Jr. (Debbie Franks); daughter, Carolyn Kabore; daughter Julie (Chris) Morton; and three grandson’s Brandon Beardsley, Jeffrey Daswani, Sean (Annemarie) Morton.
