Clyde Ray Bryner | Obituary

Clyde Ray Bryner, born March

7, 1950, age 70, died at his home in

Covington, WA on March 27, 2020,

from complications of Covid-19

virus. Clyde was born and raised

in Salt Lake City, UT, to Ray and

Leah Merle Bryner, graduating

from East High School in 1969. He

moved his family to the Seattle area

in the late 1970’s. He spent over 30

years in Federal Way, WA. He is

survived by his wife, Carol Averill

Bryner, daughters: Emily Terry (Michael), Julie Mmbulika

(Marvin), Sara Matheson (Colin), Katherine, son David,

Carol’s children: Rebecca Temple (James), Michael Ord

(Crystal), Katharine Titus (Jason) and Elisabeth Endress

(James), 15 grandchildren, as well as second wife Marilyn’s

children (Julie Mills, Steven Bonholzer, Heidi Tutton, and

their children). He was preceded in death by wives, Janice

McClellan and Marilyn Avery, his father, mother, and

brother Dalton.

Clyde was an active member of the Church of Jesus

Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many callings,

including a two-year mission to northern Mexico in 1970-

71. He served in both the Utah and Idaho National Guards,

and became disabled while serving in the US Coast Guard.

He retired from the US Postal Service in 2013. Clyde and

Carol enjoyed traveling in their RV, taking cruises, and

visiting Puerto Vallarta annually. Clyde loved playing with

his grandchildren and attending their musical and church

performances.

Due to current covid-19 restrictions imposed by

Washington state, a private graveside memorial service

will be held with immediate family only.
