Virginia Mason Franciscan Health to host Drug Take Back Day event in Federal Way

Safely rid of unused or expired prescription drugs at the Federal Way Regional Medical Center Saturday, Oct. 23.

Saturday, Oct. 23 is Drug Take Back Day – a national DEA initiative to encourage the community to safely dispose of unused or expired medications.

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is hosting its annual Drug Take Back Day event at the Federal Way Regional Medical Center to safely collect unused or expired prescription drugs in secure disposal bins.

Over the last three years, this event has collected and disposed of 200 to 400 pounds of prescription drugs and medical supplies. We welcome you to drive by and join us in our efforts to avoid prescription misuse.

When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23
