Ugandan Orphans Choir is coming to Federal Way

The Ugandan Orphans Choir will perform at 10:30 a.m. March 20 at the Federal Way Church of the Nazarene, 525 SW Dash Point Road. The choir consists of 10 children ages 8-12 who were rescued through Childcare Worldwide’s sponsorship program. The choir’s main objective is to raise awareness of the desperate need to help children living in Third World countries. For directions or more information, call (253) 839-6085.

The Ugandan Orphans Choir is a ministry of Childcare Worldwide, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping transform the lives of children through sponsorship and education which ultimately leads to employability. The organization is based out of Bellingham and has been serving impoverished children since 1981. It was founded and continues to flourish under the leadership of Dr. Max Lange and his wife, Marlies. Childcare Worldwide has worked in Uganda for many years as well as eight other developing countries throughout the world. The Ugandan Orphans Choir has performed in many different settings from churches to schools nationwide as well as Disneyland and pro-sports events.
